when they realized they were both in alternate timelines i was fucking shook. then i really almost had a heart attack when fucking alan saved nadia in his timeline but then nadia woke up to sirens and alan not being next to her in her timeline. like if he died for good after that long winding journey to save each other and themselves i would have been a wreck but he LIVED and i cried seeing him. seeing the parallel timelines. it was so meaningful holy fuck. when he asked if he was going tobe happy after this and she said “i dont know man but you will not be alone” and i fucking lost it because goddamn that’s so important. and real. things aren’t always going to be happy but at least you wont be struggling by yourself. so powerful. my heart!!!!!
if you’re the slightest bit curious you should absolutely watch Russian Doll. it’s a ton of fun and by the last three episodes it’s careening towards a crazy emotional stunt that it lands with flying colors. more than anything it just feels like it really believes in what it’s trying to say and for that reason alone you should give it a try
